The Ghoul is goin' to

Tattoo School

The Full Story

You may be wondering: “Why tattoo school? Can't you just get an apprenticeship?”

Well… yes! And also no… In my home state, Oregon legally requires that I attend a state certified tattoo school to receive my tattooing license. While I am interested in pursuing education beyond a school program, this is the first and most essential step to moving forward with my dream to be a tattoo artist. I have a school picked out and I’m working towards the deposit to secure my spot in the program. Once that’s down, I’m taking on the hefty financial goal of saving up for the entire program! There are no scholarships or financial aid for programs like these, so it’s all coming from my personal funds.

While I put in the hours at my day job and tips, I have decided to expand my collection of spooky arts to help push closer towards my goal! A lot of my newest pieces will become available as flash when I’m successfully licensed and working. Which means you'll get a chance to own original arts before they become available as tattoos! While I am accepting donations, I really want to give back a little something as a thank you for anyone following me on my big adventure. I've also opened for commissions at a limited capacity for any custom work including but not limited to, stickers and prints!

Even if you can't buy any art right now, having you follow my process via Instagram and Tik Tok or just come see what’s new on DinerGhoul.com from time to time. It means the world.

Thank you for reading and keeping up. I can't wait to keep updating you on my journey to tattooing!
